How To Enter An Exhibit at the Bonner County Fair

Entering your exhibit in the 2018 Bonner County Fair is easy! Here's how:

  1. Bring your exhibit to the Bonner County Fairgrounds on Monday, August 6, 2018, between 11:00 am - 6:30 pm.
  2. If you have flowers, bring them only on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, between 7:30 - 10:00 am.
  3. This year, all exhibitors will receive new numbers. That number will be placed in the upper right corner of your claim ticket. You will fill out your claim tag and attach it to each of the exhibits you wish to enter. Be sure you enter your number and list the correct Section, Division, Class, and Lot if applicable, on all parts of each claim tag.
      • White tags are for Open Class Adults
      • Yellow tags are for Seniors (65 and Older)
      • Pink tags are for Open Class Youth (17 and Under)
      • Green and white tags are 4-H
  4. Check your tagged exhibits at the appropriate section tables (i.e. knitting, foods, preserved foods, etc.).
  5. Retain your claim check from the bottom of each tag. You will need these to reclaim your exhibits at the end of the fair.
  6. The bottom half of the tag is folded up for judging, so the judge does not know who entered the exhibit. The ticket is punched as to what award is earned if any, and the bottom half is then removed and used for compiling the total premiums earned.
  7. Open Class Cash Premiums are paid for ribbons you have earned from 8:00 am - 12:00 Noon on Sunday, August 12, and Monday, August 13, in the Fair Office Conference Room, located in the Main Exhibit Building.
  8. Use your claim tags to pick up your exhibits from Sunday, August 12, and Monday, August 13, from 8:00 am - 12:00 Noon.
  9. Check your exhibit out with a superintendent in the appropriate department.
