Fair & Rodeo Royalty

Pictured: Angel Clark (2019 Rodeo Princess), Shellbie Montgomery (2019 Rodeo Queen), Maranda Montgomery (2018 Rodeo Queen), Hyrum Hunsaker (2019 Fair King), and Taylor Hill (Volunteer Extraordinaire). Photo taken at the 2018 Christmas Fair - this crew did a great job helping out (Davan Gilmore, our Fair Queen was busy face painting, so she is not pictured here)

Davan Gilmore has been in Bonner County 4-H for nearly eight years. During this time, she has done roughly seven years of pet rabbit and market lamb, and six years of breeding ewe. Davan is 17 years old, and has already done an excellent job representing the Bonner County Fair with professionalism and hard work.

We also discovered that Davan is an amazing artist - spending several hours volunteering her time during Christmas Fair doing face painting for the Children's Area. Davan is a lady with many talents, and her work with 4-H and the fairgrounds has been great!

Hyrum Hunsaker is a senior at Sandpoint High School, and has been an excellent ambassador for the Bonner County Fair as Fair King. Hyrum helps out with fair events as well as participating in the 4-H program. Hyrum has taught and shown others through the Swine Program and 4-H Swine Field Day, and has also helped over the last two years with teaching during the Pre-Fair Program, where 1,200 students from Bonner County's elementary schools come to the fairgrounds to learn about agriculture.
