Darcey C. Smith: Fairgrounds & Facility Director

As an Idaho Native, I was very excited with the opportunity to move back to Idaho in 2009 with my Husband & two young kiddos.

After 6+ years of working for the Commissioner's Office, I was was chosen to be the the new Fair Director. I have a strong background in Office Management & Customer Service. I am very honored to be the Fairgrounds & Facility Director, & I will do my absolute best to provide an excellent experience for all of our Fair visitors.

I have a love & passion for traditions, family, children, but I am also not afraid of growth. I look forward to making new traditions at the fair, while continuing to hold on to the traditions that have been set in place before me.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, I love to sew, crochet, spend time with my family on our adventures, hanging out with my Girl Scout Troop & volunteering.

My door is always open, if you have questions, concerns, suggestions, or just want to chat, please don't hesitate to call or stop by the office.

When she's not at the fairgrounds, you'll find Shelli and her husband Matt camping, spending time with family, and playing with their two-year old English Springer Spaniel, Kip.
