Bonner County Fair Board

Bonner County Fair Board Information

The Bonner County Fair Board meets the second Monday of each month at 5:30 pm.
Agenda items must be received one week prior to the regular scheduled monthly meeting.
The Fair Board consists of seven-members.

If interested in being considered to be on the Fair Board, interested parties must write a letter of interest to the Bonner County Commissioners in October of the year prior to term ending.

Eddie Gordon - Chairman

Eddie Gordon has been on the Fair Board for several years. Eddie helped coordinate Timberfest in 2016. Eddie will be handled the Tug of War at the Demolition Derby in 2018, and has been involved in contests and activities at Fair 2019. Eddie enjoys being on the board and enjoys participating in all events.
Jody Russell - Vice Chairman

Jody Russell - Vice Chairman

Jody Russell is very active at the fairgrounds. She is the co-coordinator for the Pre-Fair. She is the Head Barn Superintendent and also a Beef Superintendent. Jody has been a member of the Market Animal Livestock Committee and 4-H Horse Leaders Council. She is very involved in all the activities on the fairgrounds. Jody is dedicated to educating the community as to the importance of Agriculture in our community.
Bruce Hollett

Bruce Hollett

Bruce was born and raised in Bonner County. He is very active in 4-H as an 11 year member and now serves as a 4-H leader with his original club, Hoodoo Hustlers. Bruce is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bonner County Farm Bureau. He spends time volunteering in the sheep and swine barns along with the livestock auction during the fair. Bruce is committed to the agriculture education throughout our community and looks forward to his new position with the Bonner County Fairboard.
Elaine Linscott

Elaine Linscott

Elaine Linscott is a member of the Fair Board, created the "Expose Yourself to Art" 30/30/30 Event in 2013. Elaine serves as a superintendent and volunteers at all the fairground sponsored events.. She helps at both the Pre- Fair and After Fair. She loves people and being involved. Elaine works and recruits volunteers for the new Information Booth located outside the Main Exhibit Building. Elaine loves being on the Fair Board and enjoys all the events through the year.
Marj Tilley

Marj Tilley

Marj Tilley has been serving on the Fair Board for many years. Marj is dedicated to the Mission of the Fair and supports education and agriculture. She is a behind the scenes volunteer. Marj is very active in our community and serves on several other boards.
Gail Curless

Gail Curless

Gail has served on the board for almost two decades, and is very involved with all events, she is a 4-H leader and started the Ranch Sorting at the fairgrounds. Gail loves working in the beef barn and helping with Ranch Sorting during the annual fair. Gail also announces the beef show. Gail and her husband Randy are static superintendents and assist wherever needed.
Laya Bleckwenn

Laya Bleckwenn

Laya Bleckwenn is a 4th generation resident of Bonner County. She was an active 4-H member in her youth and continued into adulthood as a 4-H project leader. Laya’s passion is horses and using them in a variety of disciplines, many of which take place at the Fairgrounds. Along with serving on the Fair Board, Laya is excited to also serve on the Rodeo Committee. She feels that serving in both of these capacities is an opportunity to help promote, educate, and preserve the agricultural heritage of the community, and way of life.
